The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Tadarok Shrine Puzzle is one of the more confusing puzzles in the game. Not only is it hard to find, but you also need to use your abilities to overcome the Fire and Water puzzles. Here’s how to complete the Tadarok Shrine puzzle.
How to solve the Tadarok Shrine puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Tadarok Temple is found in the Great Plateau region. It is located near the River of the Dead and is hidden behind a waterfall.
When you go to the location marked on the map above, you will see a large waterfall pouring into a huge body of water known as the River of the Dead. You will need to climb to the top of the mountain, then jump down with your paraglider.
Once you’re in the air, glide over the waterfall. At the bottom you’ll find a ledge that you can land on. After you land, turn left and go through the cave until you reach Tadarok Shrine. Once inside, you’ll need to pass Fire and Water puzzles. Thankfully, they’re not too difficult.
For the first puzzle, use super ability to lift your right block and place it in the water. Simply jump on the cube to go to the other side to avoid being electrocuted.
After crossing, use your Ultrahand to get the cube out of the water and use it to block the flames on your left. This will allow an ice block to fall. Be sure to get a full cube, not a partially melted one.
Grab the stone with your Ultrahand and bring it to the back left corner to get the hidden item. chest. Use the cube to jump on the ledge and open the chest to get the Mighty Zonaite Shield.
For the next part of the Tadarok Shrine puzzle, you’ll need to turn to the water to the right of the chest. Use your Ultrahand to take the electrified cube out of the water and place it on the ledge above to block the flames.
Now take the original cube and the ice cube. You’ll want to place the ice cubes on top of the original cube and attach them. However, you will need to hang it off the right edge a bit. It will look like this.
This will allow you to place the cubes in the water and jump on top of the ledge.
Now for the hard part: Climb to the ledge and use your Ultrahand ability to lift two cubes out of the water and place them on the ledge you’re standing on. Then use your Ultrahand again to place the two cubes on the right edge of the electrified cube blocking the flame. It will look like this.
This will allow you to use the possibility of going up to climb on three cubes and jump on the ledge. Once there, you can claim your Light of Blessing and will complete the Temple of Tadarok in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
