With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom finally out, people are finally getting a sense of just how massive the game really is. We have worked hard to prepare thoroughly IGN Kingdom Tear Strategy and Strategy Guide Based on hundreds of hours of gameplay, including important temple puzzle tutorials.
Tears of the Kingdom has a whopping 152 hidden temples on its massive map, and we’ve not only cataloged them all, but we’ve also got a helpful list right here of the temples. Most searched temples along with their locations and a brief overview of the temple solutions.
Mayachin Temple
Mayachin Shrine (A Fixed Device) in Central Hyruleand very recognizable just north of Skyview Tower Hyrule Field in the Exchange Ruins. You can go straight to it.
Once there, you’ll need to create a mechanism to hit the ball with a baseball bat on target, using ground spikes, ground rotary switches, Ultrahands, and careful timing. This process can take several tries and requires even more complicated setup to get the treasure chest.
Mayaumekis Temple
The Temple of Mayaumekis (Downward God) is located in the Hebra region, in the sky. You will find it as naturally as you progress through Tulin of Rito . Village quest line.
Once inside, press a switch with an arrow through the bars. Jump out of the ship’s sails to cross the gap until you reach a door blocked with bars. Take your bow out in midair to slow down time and shoot the switch through the bars, opening the final door.
Susuyai Temple
Susuyai Shrine (Rotary Device) in Central Hyrule, southwest of Lookout Landing and Skyview Tower observatory. You can go straight to it.
Once inside, avoid the cars, then grab one on your way out with the Ultrahand and use it to drive up the turntable. Then use the car to run into the device on the other side and hold the door open for you while you pass. In the last room, you can use the Ultrahand to build a pedestal that allows you to cross the distance using a suspension platform and a wheel that attaches to the front of the device, touching the track. Activate it to move forward and complete the Temple.
Orochium Temple
The Temple of Orochium (Falling Courage) is hiding in the frozen Hebra Mountains north of Snow barn.
There’s a bit of a maze inside, but your goal is to get a ball from the center of the maze into the hole in the first place. Round to the left and use Ascend to get inside, go around the maze, then open the double doors with the Ultrahand and let yourself get hit by a laser to fall through the trapdoor. Avoid this last set of lasers and Go up through the ceiling to get the key, and Go up again to get the ball. You’ll then take the ball up the elevator at the back of the maze, attach it to a glider using the Ultrahand, and head down to get it on target.
Ishodag . Temple
The shrine of Ishodag (A Windy Device) is located in Central Hyrule, atop a rocky hill west of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. Go up to the Temple through an overhanging rock on the north side of the hill. Inside, you’ll first use carefully placed fans to float to the top, then cross a body of water and finally push an elevator that allows you to ascend to the final platform.
Ren-iz Temple
Temple of Ren-iz (Jump the Gaps) is also based in Central Hyrule, in a subdivision called Crenel Hill. It’s hidden inside a giant carved tree.
Once you’re inside, use the Ultrahand to adjust the metal plate to drop the ball into the basket – you may need to try a few times. The second puzzle involves both a long metal plate and a short square – you can place the long plate on top of the switch and use the short plate at an angle to create a ramp and let the ball fly.
Soryotanog . Temple
The Temple of Soryotanog (Buried Light) is located in Gerudo Desert. You can get there by flying from Gerudo Gorge View Tower or from nearby Sky Island. Or you can do things the hard way and climb the walls of Gerudo Town, fending off enemies as you go.
Once inside, use the fan to dig up the items needed to complete – first a small key, then a reflector and hidden passage, then a gear, and finally a light beam and reflector.
Morok Temple
Morok Shrine (A Bouncy Device) is waiting on the low flying Sky Island in Lanaryu Vùng region, making it a bit hard to access. You can climb it through its dangling root system or use Recall on a collapsed stretch of Sky Island to climb high enough to reach it.
Once inside, you’ll first get used to using the spring devices to move around the temple, and then move a ball into the target by launching it off the spring.
If you’re tired of exploring the Temple, there’s a lot more to do and we’ve listed all of it in our complete Tears of the Kingdom guide.
