Wholesale inflation drops to 0.92% in April

India’s annual wholesale price-based inflation (WPI) fell in April to 0.92% year-on-year, government data showed on Monday.

This is lower than the March results that showed a 1.34% gain and compared with a Reuters poll that estimated a 0.2% drop.
