Valve’s Latest Steam Deck Device Targeted By Company Known For Patent Lawsuits



Immersion Corporation has filed a lawsuit against Valve over haptic rumble technology found in the Steam Deck and Valve Index, The Verge reports.

The outlet notes that Immersion has filed a complaint in the Western District of Washington, citing seven patents dating back to as early as 2002. The company is accusing Valve of infringing on its own patents in hardware devices. company, the Steam Deck, and the Valve Index.
