How easy is it to install an SSD?
It’s super easy! Remove the case completely without tools. In fact, the only screw you have to remove is the screw that secures the SSD bay cover. You don’t even put it back when you’re done. Sony has a quick and easy way YouTube video tutorial.
What if the SSD I bought doesn’t have a heatsink?
Sony recommends installing an SSD with a heatsink included. If the SSD you buy does not include an SSD, you can simply buy one for about $10 on Amazon and add it yourself. Most of these radiators are attached only with an adhesive such as thermal tape.
