Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has arrived paramount +. This fantasy action movie—starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Regé-Jean Page—opens in theaters on March 31, meaning it will stream after a 45-day period.

In March, the director Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley spoke to GameSpot about the difficulties of explaining D&D for viewers with no background knowledge of board games. “The bigger challenge is to give something to people who have absolutely nothing to do with Dungeons & Dragons – or know nothing about it – a movie that they will also enjoy. And what I mean is, you know. See, we were very authentic,” Daly said at the time.
Daly, who also wrote Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves with Goldstein, points out that all of the monsters and magic in the film “are part of the lore.” This duo also discuss unexpected cameos in the movie.
