THIS is the horrifying moment a skydiver broke his leg and was stuck in the mountains for 17 hours.
TikTok user is called ‘Endless adventure‘ taken to social media platform to recount the traumatic accident that happened outside of Cape Town, South Africa in February 2020.
The clip begins with the helmeted daredevil seemingly stuck on a cliff as the voiceover says: “This is the worst day of my life and probably the luckiest day.
“I was really hurt after this match. It took me a year to recover.”
He added: “I will tell you how it happened.
“Most of it is my fault but you know, you always try and learn from your mistakes. You can’t promise they’ll never happen.


“I flew to South Africa with my wife and spent three weeks vacationing everywhere,” said TikToker.
“And then she comes home and I have two more weeks to get as much done as possible.
The footage then switches to footage of a helicopter.
“After several successful jumps, one of the locals decided to organize a helicopter to take us to the jump spot we jumped a few days ago.
“The hike took 5 hours and it was fun to get a helicopter so we split in half money and put one in.
He continued, “We were the last ride of the day and everyone else jumped so it was just us.
“The helicopter showed us the direction to jump but we were lost for four hours.”
The footage then switches to the point where he jumped down earlier, and he describes having a protrusion so “you can fly off the wall and open up in a really safe way”.
However, after “walking around” looking for possible exit points and finding himself at a point he said was “not ideal”.
But after climbing up and down, he added: “[I was] I was in a position where I could no longer safely go up or down – and I decided to keep going.
‘GREAT MISTAKE’
“It was a terrible mistake.”
The footage then switches to images of the injuries he suffered.
He said he broke his femur – femur – and ankle and needed to undergo several surgeries.
“It took me a year of personal training and physical therapy to get back to walking,” the man added.
The worst, he said, was: “I was stuck in the mountains for 17 hours waiting for rescue.”
He later shared footage of the horrific crash where he was seen jumping off the cliff.
The man said: “You can see my shadow, how I am about to hit that wall.
“Just when I realized I wasn’t going to make a good parachute… and it opened up a little bit and I hit the wall.
“That’s where I sat for 17 hours.”
The man revealed that it took 40 men and two helicopters to bring him down.
‘I NEARLY DIE’
He said in the caption: “This is the worst day of my life! I almost died on this day three years ago.
“I’m still not over the injury of today.”
The man, who did not want to be named, added: “Since then, I have become a father and travel the world to live a wonderful life but sometimes this comes back to me.
“I am really lucky to have escaped this and I am so grateful to the team who rescued and brought me back to life. health.”
The clip has been viewed about 49,600 times, received nearly 950 likes as well as generated 50 comments.
One wrote: “Seventeen o’clock! Damn why is it so long? I am curious! Is to find you?
TikToker replied: “They can’t rescue like this at night.”
Another commenter asked: “Speaking so calmly. What went through your mind after you crashed?

The third person summed up the feelings of many people by writing: “How annoying! So glad you’re here to tell the story.”

The 34-year-old, from Newnham, West Northamptonshire, was on holiday with three British friends – one of whom witnessed the horrific crash.
