Sofia Vergara In Today’s Food Business
The actress is celebrating a new deal she signed with Roku to host a cooking show with her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara. She shared the exciting news on Instagram. “So excited to announce our new cooking competition, Celebrity Family Cook-Off! Roku!felicidades @manologonzalezvergara en tu nuevo show coming soon.”
Vergara shared a photo of herself, her son, and some of the show’s producers celebrating at a party for the new show and other new shows coming to Roku. Vergara also keeps photos of her celebrating in New York City.
In a separate post, she took a sexy selfie with a beautiful tall building in the background. She celebrated her anniversary at her favorite restaurant in town. “Wonderful time in Ny! It will be fun @manologonzalezvergara @therokuchannel 📺📺 and of course, I have to come and celebrate at my favorite place! @ililirestaurants ”
On Manolo’s Instagram, he shared his excitement for the new show” Excited to announce our new cooking competition, Celebrity Family CookOff, coming soon on @therokuchannel. (I got a handshake!!!!!), he joked, referring to Great British Grill Judge Paul Hollywood.
Hollywood was also excited about the new movie and commented, “Nice to meet you, good luck with the new series… 🤝 !!”
Sofia Vergara has been busy lately
Vergara is always interesting if you follow her on IG. In addition to being a full-time judge on Looking for American talentshe’s been busy creating her line of clothing for Walmart and eyewear, both prescription and fashion, with Foster Grant.
“Another good day at work📸🌞,” she posted a few days ago, showing off some new glasses designs to her assistant and granddaughter Claudia Vergara. Since Vergara likes to keep things at home, a family-oriented cooking program makes sense.
So far, we know it’s called Celebrity home cooking, but that’s still a working title. Her son will organize it, and she will probably executive produce. The best part is that fans can see some of their favorite celebrities with their families in an intimate setting.

Vergara’s show hopes to feature food-loving celebrities who will bring together family members to help them compete with another celebrity family. It was a two-round battle that would include dinner and dessert.
As a twist, each episode will have a TV show as the theme, and the winning family will receive a cash prize for the charity of their choice. Kalen Allen and Fariyal Abdullahi will join Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who will serve as judges.
So far, this is a six-part series and will be added to Roku’s growing list of food shows such as Great American Baking Show, Morimoto’s Sushi Master, Martha Cooks, And Emeril backdoor. Hopefully Sofia gets her hands a little dirty too!
