SHRMTech 2023, SHRM (Human Resource Management Association), kicked off a two-day conference to focus on the latest Technological innovation is changing the HR industry.
Experts from India gathered here for SHRM’s premier technology conference discussed how Artificial intelligence and other technology solutions based on artificial intelligence and machine learning are enhancing the reach and effectiveness of HR professionals and managers.
“Human resource managers in general and businesses and organizations in particular need to understand and update the latest innovations in technology. HR leaders must find ways to apply these innovations in the workplace,” said SHRM India Managing Director Achal Khanna.
In her keynote, Jennifer McCollum, CEO of Linkage, highlighted the challenges leaders face in today’s dynamic and complex environment.
McCollum emphasizes that leaders need to be more empathetic, agile, and responsive to the needs of their employees to build a resilient and adaptable workforce.

Saying that technology is rapidly changing the workplace, she asked leaders to embrace it to drive innovation and increase efficiency.
She warns against over-reliance on technology and emphasizes the importance of balancing technology and human skills.
Ankit Aggarwal, Founder and CEO, Unstop, talked about how technology is changing the recruiting and hiring landscape. He said technology allows companies to improve hiring decisions and support organizational strategies.
Ruchee Anand Senior Director, Talent and Learning Solutions, LinkedIn, discussed How AI can be used beyond conventional talent acquisition to improve recruitment marketing, omnichannel communication, hyper-targeted messaging, and automation.
She emphasized that while these new age recruiting tactics may seem simple, they are not easy to implement and require a strategic approach.
Jaspreet Bindra, Founding Director of Tech Whisperer, discussed how Creative AI can affect work in terms of work, new ways of working, collaboration and creativity.
