Though other threats face Hyrule, Lorule, Termina, and everywhere in between, Ganon is clearly the biggest and most prominent enemy Link has faced throughout the Legend of Zelda franchise. He is the ultimate evil that requires the eternal reincarnation of the legendary hero. Since Ganon has multiple incarnations throughout the game, we decided to rank his various appearances in the Legend of Zelda series.
Before you continue, note: This list contains disclosure for all games listed, although we’ve tried to make the Tears of the Kingdom entry appropriately vague for now.
For this list, we have excluded Demise from Skyward Sword, as it is not Ganon, nor the evil force that will eventually create Ganon. We also removed Hyrule Warriors Ganon, as that version exists outside of the standard. His appearance in Phantom Hourglass was also limited to a brief retelling of the events of The Wind Waker, so that version was also dropped.
