Planet of Lana, Studio Ghibli’s sci-fi puzzle platformer, got a surprise release date today and is only a few weeks away.
On May 23, players can go on an adventure as Lana, along with her feline companion, Mui, to rescue her sister. The game is set in an alien world teeming with strange creatures and dangerous robots, which Lana and Mui overcome by working together to solve platform puzzles or sneak around. Planet of Lana occupies a similar space to games like Limbo and Inside, albeit with a much more vivid presentation. Check out its new trailer below.
Planet Lana is debut for the first time at E3 2021 and is being developed by Wishfully and Thunderful. It was originally supposed to come out last year before suffer delay. The game is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
