One of Yosemite National Park’s most sought-after destinations will soon be celebrated by the United States Postal Service.
Nevada Fall, a 594-foot waterfall that towers over Yosemite Valley, will be featured as part of the Postal Service’s new collection of waterfall stamps to be released next month. Each forever stamp will include a photo with the name of the waterfall and state.
Powered by the Merced River, the Nevada Falls located along the Mist Trail near Vernal Falls are also popular. Photographer Quang-Tuan Luong took pictures of Yosemite water drops for a new batch of stamps, according to Postal Service.
The Post Office says the stamps will go into circulation on June 13 with a ceremony being held in Yellowstone National Park.
