After a few teases, Mortal Kombat 1 was announced and ushered in a new era for its warriors by wiping out the leaderboards.
Following up on the conclusion of both Mortal Kombat 11 and its Aftermath expansion, Liu Kang is now an almighty fire god that rules over the reset timeline he created. Despite creating a peaceful new era, danger still lurks in its ugly head. The extremely violent cinematic trailer gives us glimpses of familiar faces (most of them masked), though expect new twists and turns in classic confrontations.

Mortal Kombat 1 will include a new cinematic story campaign and introduce a new feature called Kameo Fighter, a unique roster of partner warriors that aid players in matches.

Mortal Kombat 1 will launch on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC. Pre-orders start tomorrow, May 19, granting you playable Shang Tsung and access to an early beta that starts in August. There are three versions of the game:
