A man who won £26 million in the lottery hid his lucky money from his family with a strange tactic.

‘Mr. Li’ said he was overjoyed after discovering he had pocketed the huge amount of money – but would not tell his wife and children.
He spoke to Nanning Evening News and said, “I didn’t tell my wife and kids for fear that they would be too complacent and wouldn’t work, or work hard in the future.”
Mr. Li bought 40 lottery tickets at a shop in Litang, a town east of Nanning.
Each ticket he bought had the same 7 numbers, and the lottery company paid 5.48 million yuan for each ticket.
After realizing he was holding the winning numbers – 2, 15, 19, 26, 27, 29 and 2 – Mr. Li boarded a train and headed straight into the city to claim his prize of 219 million yuan. yuan (£26 million).
