Former LA Mayor Richard Riordan pays tribute at Memorial Mass


Former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, who guided the city through the aftermath of the Rodney King riots and the 1994 Northridge earthquake, is remembered today as a man of indomitable spirit.
who understands leadership and takes action to address the needs of the city and its inhabitants.

During a crowded memorial Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels,
family, friends, elected officials and Angelenos have commemorated Riordan’s life and legacy.
