The Flash’s final trailer is here, showing more of the main characters transcending time and dimensions, including multiple versions of Flash, two Batmans, Supergirl, and the return of Generals Zod army.
The upcoming DC film features Ezra Miller as The Flash, with several other DC actors reprising previous roles including Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as their respective Batman versions and Michael Shannon as Generals Zod army. The new trailer has also revealed another returning actor, with Jeremy Irons taking on the role of Alfred Pennyworth, after playing the character previously in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
The film follows Miller’s Barry Allen as he tries to use his time travel powers to repair his past and save his parents. At Affleck’s Batman’s warning, his time-traveling mischief goes terribly wrong, and he becomes trapped in a reality threatened by the return of General Zod. The film features The Flash fighting alongside an alternate version of himself, as well as Supergirl played by Sasha Calle and Batman in Michael Keaton’s alternate universe. The Flash is directed by IT (2017) filmmaker Andy Muschietti.
The Flash opens on June 16.
