FRANCE President Emmanuel Macron stands with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing — amid accusations that he is now a puppet of the Asian nation.
The President of France and the Head of the EU Ursula Von Der Leyen were rolled out the red carpet by rogue nation, where they engaged in business discussions and posed for photos.
Mr. Macron used the visit to urge his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping to help stop Russia’s war in Ukraine – which he refused to condemn.

The chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Alicia Kearns, said his summit would make no difference in helping to end the brutal war, after his similar peace talks with Putin failed last year.
“More than a year ago, Macron met Putin and then publicly assured allies that there would not be another illegal invasion,” she said. Now he is in Beijing with hopes to end Xi’s support of Putin.
“Xi did as he said.
“The CCP will take advantage of the propaganda spoils of such a visit, and use it to present itself globally as a peacemaker.” And Iain Duncan Smith angrily said it was another hopeless attempt to “make concessions” and show “a complete failure to understand China”.
China is a clear and dangerous threat to all of us – and Xi’s so-called peace plan is nothing but a pathetic joke.
“Macron was the slowest to contain Ukraine a year ago – under his guidance they would certainly broker a fearsome peace.
“All they are doing is bowing to China and showing the weakness of the West. “Did Macron flee Paris just to find out how the Chinese control the crowd?”
