Between the cost and the crowds, getting into Disneyland Resort has become difficult for many people.
But on Thursday, a computer system malfunction made entry to the park (temporarily) impossible.
Disneyland officials said the park’s ticketing system was down for about 30 minutes on Thursday affecting the turnstiles.
As a result, hundreds of guests gathered on the central promenade between the entrances to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure as they waited to enter.
Rebecca Saryan, a resort employee who works at Disney California Adventure, visited the park on her own on Thursday and got caught up in the snafu affair.
Saryan said in an interview with The Times: “An actor came down the line and informed everyone that the main system was down and we were going to have to sit still for a while.
Saryan said the resort’s parking system also had problems, with some people, including her sister, allowed to park for free.
Despite the long wait to enter the park, Saryan said most guests understand.
“Most of the people around me are pretty nice and kind,” she said.
