CCTV footage shows a girl being “taken away to be raped and murdered” after her mother sold her for drugs.
Luz Maida, three, was gruesomely sold to her mother’s drug dealer boyfriend in the middle of the night in exchange for £10 worth of cocaine.
Mother, Aurelia Salinas, 42, is said to have made the disturbing deal with Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay.
Creepy CCTV showed Salinas’ boyfriend holding her in his arms in the early hours of the morning, the report claims.
The video captures Luz’s last moments before she tragically passed away rape and kill.
Luz, who usually wears a blue dress with by Disney Frozen characters are printed on it, which was betrayed by her mother for 30 pieces of crack cocaine, the report asserts.
The heartbreaking clip is said to show the innocent girl trying to get away from Salinas’ boyfriend as he ran away from home with her.
While the man walks down the dirt road with Luz slung over his shoulder, he can be seen slapping her with his free hand to stop her from fidgeting.
Just over 24 hours after the shocking crime was committed, the girl’s body was discovered by horrified neighbors in an abandoned house.
Her body was found in a shirt and laid on a bed after she was raped and murdered.
Initial reports of the incident suggested the three-year-old was suffocated.
According to reports, angry locals attempted to execute Salinas when she was arrested after allegedly confessing to police involvement in her daughter’s murder.
Her boyfriend later confessed to the murder, local media reported.
Salinas initially told police that Luz had disappeared in her sleep but after police discovered the CCTV footage, she admitted to selling her for crack cocaine.
The 42-year-old woman was arrested along with her boyfriend and another 17-year-old also believed to be involved.
Police are said to have said that Salinas was under the influence of drugs and appeared to be disinterested in her daughter’s whereabouts while they searched for her.
It was also reported that more than 300 locals attended Luz’s funeral and that a group of local neighbors then burned down the house where her body was discovered.
The case is currently under investigation.
