Cathedral Heights video of woman repeatedly calling Uber driver a racist slur sparks outrage

An unidentified Uber customer has been banned from the platform after berating a driver on Wednesday morning. The woman mentioned above used racist slurs against the black driver and also assaulted him. Netizens then took to social media to express their outrage over the incident.

“I’m your damn boss, you’re a small piece. n**** r.

Then the driver protested to her customer by saying, “You’re an asshole,” to which she responded, “Am I an asshole? You are a slave.

In Washington, DC: A white woman repeatedly calls her Uber driver a “negro” and a “slave” after he told her to get out of his face, “I hire you. I’m your boss.”

While scolding the man that her phone’s battery was running low, she continued to taunt:

“I asked for a phone charger, you are the king of ignorance n****r.”

The video ends with the woman throwing another one racial slander and jostled the man.

Netizens expressed outrage when witnessing the woman’s behavior. Many people expressed fear and sympathy for the driver. Neighbors share details of racist incident

In an interview with News 4, neighbor Alex revealed that police officers were at the scene and spoke to the driver. However, the driver refused to complain. She also revealed that the Uber driver was requested by racist the woman whether she can use the phone charger or not. However, when she was unable to do so, she became enraged. The driver then pulled over and ended the trip. This is when the two end up in a street feud.

Alex added:

Steve Mason, a neighbor, also expressed disbelief in what was happening:

“We don’t know what happened before that, but it doesn’t matter. There is no call for any kind of racism.”

Neighbor Jennifer Hightower said she was surprised to see that woman using racist language even in 2022. She added:

“We still have a lot of work to do.”

Uber confirmed in a statement that it does not tolerate such behavior and announced that it has banned riders’ accounts from the ride-sharing platform.
