Bad Bunny Said The Shade is accidental

During Bad Bunny’s performance on Coachella’s second weekend, the rapper cleared the air of his shade at Harry Styles. At his first gig and the first headline set for the Arts and Music Festival, Bad Bunny displayed a shaded tweet for Styles.

The tweet read “good night benito could do it, but Harry can never do it again.” The message mentions two of the artist’s biggest hits and implies that Bad Bunny is a much better performer than Styles.

However, at the end of its second week, Bad Bunny showed a new tweet, read“Sorry, Harry. It was a mistake by my team. We love you. <3.” A rep for the rapper said Rolling Stone that Bunny never approved for them to display the shady tweet on the giant screen during his performance.

Visual Content Company Takes Responsibility

A few days before he apologized, Sturdy. Co, the visual content company that designed the Coachella set for Bad Bunny’s performance, released a statement on Instagram. They took responsibility for the tweet in their post and said it was a mistake.

Messages read, each Daily mail, “We intend to create designs that gently express Bad Bunny’s personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer. The artist’s request during the image process for the El Apagón performance was to use only images and not text from the tweet, which we are responsible for and will correct for Friday’s performance. “

The mistake with the tweet about Styles isn’t the only fault on Bad Bunny’s show. When he brought Post Malone to the stage for a joint performance, he had technical problems and was not heard by the crowd. To thank the fans, the two rappers later posted a video of their song on Instagram.

However, fans on social media have found it hard to believe that the display is actually a mistake. Time is an issue, as Bad Bunny recently started dating Kendall Jenner, who is romantically involved with Styles. They were together from 2013 to 2016 and have remained close ever since.

Evil Bunny made the situation worse for Styles when he didn’t include the “Watermelon Sugar” singer in a montage. The Latino rapper started his first gig with a montage of previous Coachella leads and excluding Styles, who led last year’s festival. He just included The Weeknd, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar.

The alleged relationship with Styles can be traced back to the 2023 Grammy Awards, where both of their recent albums were nominated for Album of the Year. Styles eventually won the coveted “Harry’s House” award, beating Bad Bunny, Adele, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and others.

The controversy with Styles isn’t the first time Bad Bunny has had an issue with one of Jenner’s exes. The “Me Porto bonito” rapper previously targeted NBA star Devin Booker in a song “Coco Chanel.”

The lyrics of the song’s first verse, when translated into English, read: “I’m not bad, honey, it’s a gimmick / But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows that.” In a now-deleted Instagram post, Booker responded to the shade by commenting, “He’s worried about another MAN again.”

In another part of the song, Bad Bunny mentions Jenner with lyrics that translate to “Scorpio women are dangerous.” Jenner was born in November 1995 and is a Scorpio. Jenner and Booker dated for about two years and ended their relationship in November 2022. At the time, they said it was due to busy work schedules.
